SEMINAR SCHEDULE AND GENERAL INFO
Within and not later than May 10th 2014
The NCHA Judges Department informs all the European judges and
applicants that there won’t be another recertification clinic in the next
two years , and there won’t be another clinic for new applicants in the
The 2014 Seminar is mandatory for current judges who need to refresh their NCHA
card and open to the new applicants, the seminar will be conducted by Monitor Mr.
Bobby Hunt (AAAA). Auditors will be allowed to join the seminar.
In 2014 current judges won’t be retested but they are required to join the seminar in
order to refresh their NCHA card , judges attending this seminar will receive one
credit. They must be current NCHA members, fill and sign the proper NCHA judges
recertification form and the ethic code and turn them before the seminar starts.
The new applicants must fill and sign the NCHA judges application form to be
turned at the arrival before the seminar starts, and they are required to take an open
book test and a judging test on video.
All the applicants will get a chance to practice before the Sunday test by attending
at the NCHA open and non pro finals of Saturday evening May 25th at 6:00 p.m.
where they could fill their score sheets and turn them to the instructor once the
finals will be finished, Mr. Bobby Hunt will be glad to comment the score cards
with the applicants after the Sunday test (not mandatory).
The new applicants must have their open book tests completed and ready to be
turned and graded prior to the video judging , they will need to score an 80% on
their written test and 75% on their three video judging test, those that won’t
score at least 80% in the open book test, won’t be allowed to take the video judging
test. The written test is an open book test and will be consigned to the new applicants
at their arrival to be completed and turned before the video judging test, or could be
emailed on demand along with the NCHA judges application form before the seminar
starts. The European applicants are not required to have the earnings, or references
that are required to U.S judges, however they must be members in good standing for
a period of three years,the score on their applicant test will determine their rating ( A
to AAAA). A score of 75 or higher out of 100 will pass. An applicant score of 75-80
will earn a 2-A rating, a score of 81-95 will earn a 3-A rating and 95 and higher will
earn a 4-A rating.
